My 2yr old grandson was given Edward as part of the Take Along Thomas collection. He loves watching the programmes and these little engines are just right for his little hands. He gets great enjoyment from playing with them and so far they are still as good as new. The engines are metal and appear to be robust and although plastic, the wheels are still whole. I think they are a good buy.
