Editorial Reviews:
Product Description New adventures are waiting just around the bend with Thomas and Friends. Watch engines "disappear" into a coal mine tunnel and magically "reappear" through a secret door on this Quarry Mine Tunnel. The door swings open when an engine appears after descending into the tunnel. This innovative structure is designed with detailed, Thomas-themed graphics. Includes one piece of ascending track. Measures 16.5 inches long. Thomas engine and additional track sold separately.

Customer Reviews: Superb, but pricey June 15, 2006 Robert's Mummy (Oxfordshire, UK) 14 out of 14 found this review helpful
As with the entire Thomas wooden railway by Learning Curve, this piece is very expensive for what it is. That said, it is one of my son's all time favourite pieces, and is a well made and durable toy.
It is compatible with all the Thomas sets and track. The door at the bottom of the tunnel opens both ways so trains can go in either direction through it. My nearly-three-year-old adores sending the trains through so they 'disappear' and 'reappear' again on the other side.
Highly recommended - but worth shopping around to find it cheaper elsewhere...
