This clock has my son (2 1/2 years old) staying in his bed, reading quietly, until I wake up. He knows not to get out of bed, open his door or wake Mummy up until Thomas has woken up. He also knows when we put Thomas to sleep, he must go to sleep to. This clock was a fabulous buy in our household. He is a massive Thomas fan, and will do anything Thomas and the Fat Controller tell him!
So far the clock has kept time well, but I have to say the 'changeover' from night to day is very loud (but then my son is awake usually anyway). Sometimes I go in at night and move the alarm forward a bit to give me a lie in - that works too! I reckon it was a great purchase!

As with other reviewers comments, this is a great product idea but it's poorly made. We had to return ours as the timing mechanism didn't work. It was very difficult explaining to my son that he couldn't keep Thomas - avoid disappointed and don't buy this item.

Stear clear. After getting to grips with the very sparse instructions, the 'clock' just doesn't move. Although sometimes it does! but only 15minutes in 1 hour....... Idea is right but it just doesn't work. Perhaps mine is faulty? but having read other reviews (wish I did before I bought it), they all report the same thing. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

Don't buy this product - it doesn't work properly (we even exchanged to see whether we just had a dodgy one). The light switches off when it's not supposed to, and it doesn't keep time. This actually creates sleep problems rather than solving them!... Very badly made.
